    ### Sand Anchor Kit - 8lb Anchor, 50m Rope, 3m Chain

Bring the main anchoring components together with this sand anchor kit. It includes a galvanised sand anchor, silver anchor rope, galvanised chain and two galvanised D shackles. The exact anchor size, rope diameter, rope length and chain section are specified below, so you can compare the complete package rather than choosing by anchor size alone.

The sand-anchor format is intended for sand and mud. Supplied in a display box, this kit keeps the specified components together as a practical starting point for a boat’s anchoring setup. Its anchor size is expressed in pounds; that number should not be read as kilograms. The two D shackles are galvanised components, while the rope is described as silver anchor rope.

Two kits can share an anchor size and rope length while using different lengths of chain. Rope diameter is another important distinction, especially when comparing fittings and the available storage space. The shackle diameter is listed separately from the chain diameter; use both when checking connection clearance. These measurements describe the actual package and help avoid choosing a similar-looking but differently configured kit.

The approximate boat-length recommendation is a guide for average boats in average conditions. Heavier boats or greater windage may require a larger or additional anchor, and sufficient chain remains important. Consider the intended location and the vessel’s requirements before selecting the complete system. The included rope length is the amount supplied, not a maximum anchoring-depth rating.

### Choosing and using this product

Plan how the equipment will be reached, deployed and secured when not in use. Keep the connections accessible for inspection and follow the relevant anchoring-equipment instructions. A storage position should accommodate the complete assembly without trapping the rope beneath other gear.
