    ### Rule Straight 20mm Livewell Aerator Spray Head with Valve for Marine Bait Tanks

### Choosing and using this product

This fitting belongs in the water-delivery side of a livewell system. It gives the incoming water a directed discharge inside the tank and allows the operator to adjust or close that flow at the head. It is an outlet fitting rather than a powered pump, so the water supply must come from a separately arranged livewell pump. The fitting's usefulness depends on the pump, hose, tank and overflow working together.

Choose the connection orientation to suit the available space behind the tank wall. A straight connection needs room for the hose to leave the fitting directly; an angled version may suit a route that turns close to the tank. Compare the hose's internal diameter with the stated connection size and leave enough room for a secure connection without crushing or sharply bending the hose. Do not choose an orientation solely from a photograph if the installed hose route has not been measured.

Position the head where it can distribute water into the livewell and where the adjustment remains accessible. The valve is useful for managing the delivery at the head, but do not assume that closing it is an acceptable operating condition for every pump. Follow the pump manufacturer's instructions for restricted flow and switching. Check that the livewell overflow and drain remain clear, and observe the water level when the system is first operated. Surface agitation can assist oxygenation, but it does not guarantee suitable conditions for every species or stocking level. Inspect the head for blockage and rinse accumulated debris from the fitting as part of routine livewell cleaning.
