    ### Rule LoPro LP900D 12V 900 GPH Non-Automatic Low-Profile Marine Bilge Pump

The Rule LoPro uses a low-profile body to help with bilge installations where height or width is restricted. Its adjustable discharge orientation allows the installer to consider more than one hose route. Check the overall length as well as the stated profile, because clearance is needed for the port, hose bend, wiring and future servicing.

Low-profile submersible pump for horizontal or vertical mounting. Ignition protection, thermal cut-out and silicone-blocked tinned 16-gauge wiring. Discharge rotates 180 degrees. Includes straight ports in 20mm, 25mm and 28mm plus one 20mm 90-degree elbow. Nitrile check valves for straight ports only. Requires separate float switch for automatic operation.

### Choosing and using this product

A bilge pump is one part of a complete water-management installation. Consider the expected water ingress, the discharge height and the route out of the boat rather than choosing on the headline flow figure alone. Hose length, bends, fittings and vertical lift can reduce the amount of water delivered in service. Keep the inlet accessible so that accumulated dirt can be removed during routine checks.

Before replacing an existing pump, compare its electrical supply, discharge hose and mounting arrangement with this model. Allow space to detach the strainer and reach the wiring after installation. Have the circuit protection, cable sizing and discharge arrangement checked against the manufacturer’s instructions by a suitably qualified marine installer. A pump should not be relied on to compensate for a persistent leak or an undersized drainage system.

After installation, test the complete system with water and confirm that it discharges where intended. Check the hose connections, operation of any control switch and access for maintenance. Include the bilge area in regular boat inspections, particularly before a trip and after a period of storage. Keep a record of the exact model so that future replacement parts can be matched accurately.
