    ### Ritchie Helmsman Flush Mount Compass - CombiDamp Dial - Black

The black Helmsman flush compass provides the 95 mm CombiDamp dial in a recessed format. Its gimballed movement and fluid expansion chamber are designed around movement and temperature changes. Check the flange and the lower body separately when assessing available panel space.

A marine compass provides a magnetic heading reference, so its position and compensation matter alongside the dial size. Choose a location where the intended reader can see the heading clearly, and follow the installation instructions to assess magnetic influences from nearby equipment. A convenient physical mounting point is only part of selecting a suitable position.

The movement and housing features in the specifications identify this particular model. Compare them with the required mounting arrangement rather than assuming that all compasses in the same family share the same footprint.
