Pair a grey, no-glare finish with the Angler’s blue direct-reading dial in this bracket-mount version. Thumbscrews allow bracket adjustment, making the mounting arrangement its main distinction from the surface-mounted Angler. The movable sun shield gives another way to manage the viewing setup.

A marine compass provides a magnetic heading reference, so its position and compensation matter alongside the dial size. Choose a location where the intended reader can see the heading clearly, and follow the installation instructions to assess magnetic influences from nearby equipment. A convenient physical mounting point is only part of selecting a suitable position.
