Replacement Lens to suit Attwood Pole Light - 497142
Refresh the lens on Attwood pole light 497142 with replacement part 497109. This lens is for the listed pole lights that use conventional globes.
Use the exact light code to establish compatibility before ordering. The Attwood pole light 497142 application distinguishes this spare from lenses intended for other lamp heads. Replacing the appropriate lens lets you service the matching light assembly without selecting a complete pole solely for its lens.
Choosing and using this product
This is a targeted replacement purchase, so keep the parent equipment reference beside the part number while checking the order. If several similar assemblies are fitted aboard, identify the relevant position as well. That distinction helps ensure the part is ordered for the equipment actually being serviced.
Check the available mounting space and cable access. For a replacement, compare the footprint and fixing arrangement with the existing installation. A pole-mounted version also needs the correct base and enough clearance in its intended position.
Follow the light and boat instructions for location, orientation and electrical connection. Keep access available for maintenance, and confirm the completed installation operates as intended. Use only the stated ratings for the exact model rather than extending claims from another light in the range.
Consider how the fitting will be reached for cleaning or future replacement. Retain the model reference and any compatible spare-part codes with the boat’s records. This is especially helpful when several similar-looking lights have different voltages or functions.
Choose the light around its stated purpose, power supply and mounting format. A navigation light, cabin light, work light and replacement globe serve different jobs, even when their housings look similar. Match the listed function before comparing finish or appearance.
