    ### Replacement Globe to suit 492672 & 492674

Service the specified GoLight models with this replacement globe, part 492688. Compatibility is listed for 492672 and 492674 searchlights, giving you the model references needed to select the correct spare.

A replacement globe is a targeted maintenance part for the matching lamp. Confirm the searchlight code before selection; similarity in the exterior housing does not establish globe compatibility.

### Choosing and using this product

This is a targeted replacement purchase, so keep the parent equipment reference beside the part number while checking the order. If several similar assemblies are fitted aboard, identify the relevant position as well. That distinction helps ensure the part is ordered for the equipment actually being serviced.

Check the available mounting space and cable access. For a replacement, compare the footprint and fixing arrangement with the existing installation. A pole-mounted version also needs the correct base and enough clearance in its intended position.

Follow the light and boat instructions for location, orientation and electrical connection. Keep access available for maintenance, and confirm the completed installation operates as intended. Use only the stated ratings for the exact model rather than extending claims from another light in the range.

Consider how the fitting will be reached for cleaning or future replacement. Retain the model reference and any compatible spare-part codes with the boat’s records. This is especially helpful when several similar-looking lights have different voltages or functions.

Choose the light around its stated purpose, power supply and mounting format. A navigation light, cabin light, work light and replacement globe serve different jobs, even when their housings look similar. Match the listed function before comparing finish or appearance.

Review the supplied contents when selecting a light or spare. Some products are complete assemblies, while others provide a lens, globe, control or mounting component only. Identify the existing model before choosing a part for a repair.
