Replacement Dash Mount Control to suit 492671 & 492677 (GT Series)
Service the specified GoLight models with this dash-mounted control, part 492685. Compatibility is listed for 492671 and 492677 GT-series searchlights, giving you the model references needed to select the correct spare.
The controller is intended for the dash position of the matching remote-control searchlight system. Check the original lamp code and model generation before ordering so that the control matches the installed equipment.
Choosing and using this product
This is a targeted replacement purchase, so keep the parent equipment reference beside the part number while checking the order. If several similar assemblies are fitted aboard, identify the relevant position as well. That distinction helps ensure the part is ordered for the equipment actually being serviced.
Choose the light around its stated purpose, power supply and mounting format. A navigation light, cabin light, work light and replacement globe serve different jobs, even when their housings look similar. Match the listed function before comparing finish or appearance.
Follow the light and boat instructions for location, orientation and electrical connection. Keep access available for maintenance, and confirm the completed installation operates as intended. Use only the stated ratings for the exact model rather than extending claims from another light in the range.
Consider how the fitting will be reached for cleaning or future replacement. Retain the model reference and any compatible spare-part codes with the boat’s records. This is especially helpful when several similar-looking lights have different voltages or functions.
Before ordering a mounting component, check the space on both sides of the proposed location. The visible footprint, fixing access and clearance needed to remove the supported item are separate considerations. Compare those details with the existing installation so the component can be positioned usefully.
