Purpleline TORPEDO Locking Hitch Pin
Add a locking connection to a compatible hitch arrangement with the Purpleline Torpedo locking hitch pin. It is also listed as suitable for articulating poly-block couplings.
The easy-fitting lock makes the pin a security accessory for the stated connection type. Check the hitch-pin diameter, required usable length and surrounding clearance on the actual assembly before selecting a replacement.
No dimensional pin specification or universal vehicle fitment is stated in this listing. Confirm those details for the intended coupling rather than assuming all articulating or conventional hitches use the same pin. The product adds a locking function without changing the towing rating of the hitch assembly.
Choosing and using this product
Include the attachment points in routine boat inspections. Keep moving or seating surfaces clear where applicable, and follow the product’s care instructions for its material and finish. Retaining the size and part code is useful when replacing another fitting elsewhere on the boat.
Consider how the fitting will be used in the normal boat layout. Allow room for hands, tools and any intended movement, and check that it does not obstruct an access opening or another control. Offer the parts into position before marking or making permanent changes.
The listed material, finish and dimensions help you select a version that suits the job and surrounding fittings. Measure the actual location rather than relying on a familiar-looking shape. Small differences in projection or spacing can change how comfortably the completed arrangement works.
Check the stated supply quantity and inclusions when ordering. Some listings describe an individual component, while others supply a pair, pack or complete assembly. Match any additional fixings and supporting parts to the installation requirements rather than assuming they accompany the visible fitting.
