Power Battery Box
Bring battery containment and accessory connections together with the large power battery box, part 229088. The vented box includes pre-wired positive and negative battery terminals, a carry handle, strap and mounting hardware.
Two cigarette-socket power outlets provide the accessory connection format. A battery-condition indicator is built into the lid, and the assembly includes a 30A fuse.
Compare the internal dimensions with the intended battery, then check the larger external dimensions against the mounting area. The listed internal measurements exclude the lid, while the external measurements include the lid and handles.
The power-accessory layout is the defining feature of this box. Check the requirements of each connected accessory and the box’s wiring arrangement before use, and allow room for cable access around the installed battery.
Choosing and using this product
Keep circuit labels and the fitted product reference with the boat’s electrical records. This makes later fault-finding and replacement enquiries more straightforward. Before returning equipment to use, check the completed installation and its operation using the applicable instructions.
Choose the component for the actual circuit and power supply. Compare the stated voltage, current rating and switching or connection function with the equipment it will serve. A similar faceplate or connector shape does not establish the same electrical specification.
Plan the component together with the circuit wiring and protection. Follow the equipment instructions for the required connections and ratings, and keep the installation accessible for inspection. A component rating should not be treated as the rating of the entire assembled circuit.
