Pole Light - 9” Folding Base
Add a 9-inch globe-type pole light with a folding base using part 497105. Its 360-degree white light is specified for boats up to 12 metres, with USCG 2 nautical mile approval.
The folding base allows the 9-inch pole to be lowered when it is not in use. That format is useful when planning storage clearance, while the light must still be positioned appropriately when operating.
Easterner’s black nylon base, anodised aluminium tube and white plastic lens form a straightforward conventional-globe fitting. The specified globe is 12V 10W, a useful detail when arranging maintenance spares.
Choosing and using this product
Consider how the fitting will be reached for cleaning or future replacement. Retain the model reference and any compatible spare-part codes with the boat’s records. This is especially helpful when several similar-looking lights have different voltages or functions.
Check the available mounting space and cable access. For a replacement, compare the footprint and fixing arrangement with the existing installation. A pole-mounted version also needs the correct base and enough clearance in its intended position.
Follow the light and boat instructions for location, orientation and electrical connection. Keep access available for maintenance, and confirm the completed installation operates as intended. Use only the stated ratings for the exact model rather than extending claims from another light in the range.
Choose the light around its stated purpose, power supply and mounting format. A navigation light, cabin light, work light and replacement globe serve different jobs, even when their housings look similar. Match the listed function before comparing finish or appearance.
Review the supplied contents when selecting a light or spare. Some products are complete assemblies, while others provide a lens, globe, control or mounting component only. Identify the existing model before choosing a part for a repair.
