    ### Pedestal Foot Rest - Suits 87mm Gas Pedestal Posts

Add a clamped footrest to a pedestal tube of the specified diameter. The aluminium footrest attaches around the tube, making the post measurement the key compatibility check.

The selected configuration for code 648527 is Suits 87mm Gas Pedestal Posts. Use that exact size or fitting when matching this component to the planned installation.

Match the actual post diameter before ordering and check the available clamping position on the pedestal. The two listed sizes are separate options; do not treat an 87 mm gas-pedestal fitting as interchangeable with a 73 mm fitting.

### Choosing and using this product

This is a targeted replacement purchase, so keep the parent equipment reference beside the part number while checking the order. If several similar assemblies are fitted aboard, identify the relevant position as well. That distinction helps ensure the part is ordered for the equipment actually being serviced.

Inspect the deck support and fastening arrangement as part of the installation planning. Follow the relevant product and boat instructions, then include the attachment points and locking mechanisms in routine checks. Retain the model reference when compatible spare components may be needed later.

Allow space for any swivel, slide or release movement and check access to the adjustment controls. Nearby lockers, steering controls and walkways can influence the most useful position. Offer the complete arrangement into place before making permanent changes.

Match the connection at each end independently. The deck base must suit the mounting location, while the top must accept the intended seat or table fitting. A common-looking post diameter does not establish compatibility between every removable or locking system.

Check whether the listing supplies a full pedestal set or one replacement component. A base, post and top fitting may have separate product codes. Comparing the inclusions prevents a part-only purchase from being mistaken for a complete support assembly.
