    ## 316 Stainless Metric Thread Swage Terminal - Thread D1: M5 / Wire D2 metric: 3.2 mm

Connect an imperial-size wire rope to a metric threaded fitting with a 316 stainless steel swage stud terminal. The wire end and threaded end have separate size designations, making this a component to select by both specifications.

This variant pairs an M5 metric thread with 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) wire. The L1 dimension is 85 mm, and the specified Uni Die number is 4.

### A defined end connection for the selected wire

A swage terminal provides the transition between the wire and its adjoining fitting. The wire interface and the finished connection serve different purposes, so both need to match the planned assembly. Check the wire size before comparing the eye, fork or threaded end and the space the terminal will occupy.
