    ### 16mm Split Tubing - 3m

Protect a cable run with this 16mm split corrugated tubing, part 221626-3. It is supplied in a 3m length, giving a defined quantity for the planned harness route.

The split format is intended for quick wire harnessing and flexible protection around cable connections. Black polypropylene copolymer construction carries a UL94-V2 flame-retardant classification, with a maximum operating temperature of 90°C.

Match the 16mm nominal tubing size to the cable bundle and available clearance. Plan the full 3m supply around the required lengths and connection areas before cutting and fitting.

### Choosing and using this product

When choosing electrical cable, distinguish nominal cable size from conductor cross-sectional area. Match the circuit requirements using the actual cable specification and equipment guidance. Core count and colour also matter when replacing an existing run or keeping several circuits identifiable.

Check the sales format carefully when comparing a short repair quantity with a full roll. Work out the requirement for the complete job first, then allow for the terminations specified by the installation instructions. This reduces the chance of selecting an unsuitable length because two products share a similar name.

For sleeving, conduit or heatshrink, compare the usable internal space with the bundle or connection being covered. Where a shrink ratio is stated, consider both the starting and recovered dimensions. A sleeve that fits the cable alone may not pass over an assembled connector.

Plan routing and support before cutting material to length. Keep the installation accessible where practical, and use connections and protection appropriate to the equipment. Label remaining stock with its size and specification so it can be distinguished from similar-looking materials.
