16mm Clear Vinyl Fresh Water Tubing 30m Reel. Clear vinyl tubing provides a non-reinforced hose option for fresh-water delivery and drain outlets. The transparent material makes the contents of an accessible run visible, which can be useful when checking the route or identifying retained water. It is described as non-toxic food-grade hose. Because it has no reinforcement, it is not recommended for suction lines, and it must not be used for fuel. Select it for its stated water or drainage application before matching the bore to the fittings.

### Choosing and using this product

Check the inside diameter required at each connection and measure the entire route, allowing for the length that will sit over each hose tail. A clear appearance does not establish a hose's pressure capability or suitability for a different fluid. Confirm the requirements of the pump or equipment before using the tubing in a pressurised installation, and use reinforced hose where the system calls for it. Plan gradual curves and support the tubing so that it does not flatten, kink or pull against its end connections. Keep it away from sharp edges, moving mechanisms and sources of excessive heat. If clamps are required, choose them to suit the outside diameter over the fitting and avoid damaging the unreinforced wall. Inspect the line after fitting and check for leaks during an operating test. For water service, keep the inside of the tubing clean during cutting, storage and installation, and follow the equipment's commissioning instructions. Choose carefully between a complete reel and a cut length. Per-metre cut hose is not returnable, so confirm both the bore and the amount needed before ordering.
