12mm White Drinking Water Suction Hose 20m Coil. This white reinforced drinking-water hose is intended for galley pump fresh-water lines and filling boat or caravan water tanks from a fixed tap. Its food-grade, non-toxic construction is described as tasteless, making it a practical choice where avoiding hose-related taste is important. The hose is also UV resistant for outdoor use. Its suction-hose construction and 12mm internal diameter distinguish it from an ordinary unreinforced drain tube. Choose the coil length according to the actual distance between the water source and the intended connection.

### Choosing and using this product

Measure the full route rather than relying on the straight-line distance. Include room for gentle curves, the length fitted over hose tails and enough slack to avoid pulling on taps, pumps or tank connections. Check that all fittings suit the hose bore and the intended fresh-water application. For a tank-filling hose, keep the ends protected from dirt during storage and prevent them from contacting contaminated surfaces. For a permanently installed galley line, plan access to joints and support the hose where required. UV resistance is useful outdoors, but it does not remove the need to avoid abrasion, kinks and excessive heat. Use clamps sized for the hose over the fittings and follow the water equipment's installation instructions. Flush and commission the completed system as directed by the equipment supplier before drinking from it. Keep a dedicated drinking-water hose separate from equipment used for bilges, toilets or general washdown tasks.
