Nylon V Type Cleat 8-12mm Rope Marine Rigging Line
Secure fibrous rope within the 8-12mm range with this nylon V-type cleat. Its low-profile, snag-free design keeps the fitting compact, while the V-cleat format allows quick cleating and release.
Code 405123 is the 8-12mm version. Check the actual line diameter and material before selecting it, since the stated application is fibrous rope under moderate loads.
Allow access to the line where it enters and leaves the cleat, and compare the proposed mounting position with surrounding fittings. The low profile is useful when planning an uncluttered layout, but a moderate-load description should not be treated as a numerical load rating.
Choosing and using this product
When ordering several lengths, label them by diameter, construction and purpose. Colour can help distinguish stored lines, but the actual specification remains the reliable reference. Retain the product code when a later extension or replacement needs to match the original supply.
Choose the line by construction, diameter and supplied length together. Those details influence handling and how it fits the intended fittings or storage space. A rope selected for anchoring may have different requirements from a line used for a cover, general lashing or another specified task.
Plan where the line will run and where it may contact an edge or fitting. Keep the route and end connections accessible for inspection, and follow the product’s care guidance. After use, organise the line so it can be taken out without tangling with neighbouring equipment.
Measure the complete requirement before comparing coils or reels. Check whether the listing supplies a cut length, a full roll or a finished line with an end fitting. The end treatment can be an important difference when replacing an existing line.
