Water Separating Fuel Filter Clear Bowl Only.
Service the required part of your Easterner water-separating fuel-filter assembly with this clear replacement bowl. The component format matters when ordering a replacement: product 358243 is supplied as the clear replacement bowl, rather than as the complete mounting-head kit.
The application is a two-stroke or four-stroke petrol fuel system, not diesel. Check the existing filter assembly and sealing arrangement before choosing the replacement.
The clear bowl allows collected water to be viewed at the base of the filter.
Choosing and using this product
Retain the part code and any compatible equipment references with the boat’s maintenance records. That makes later filter or hose replacements easier to identify. When several engines or tanks are involved, label spare parts so different connector styles are not confused.
Match the component to the fuel system and the exact connection being serviced. Hose size, thread form and engine-side or tank-side fitting style can differ between otherwise similar products. Use the stated model references rather than relying on a familiar connector shape.
Review the listed contents before planning the job. A connector, hose assembly, primer bulb and tank each cover a different part of the system. Determine which adjoining components are already present and which are expressly included with this product.
Use the relevant equipment instructions for the installation and inspection of the fuel system. Keep connections accessible and check the completed arrangement before returning it to service. Confirm the intended fluid application for each component.
For a tank, check the available space and access for filling, removal and hose routing. For a filter or replacement element, identify the existing assembly and its service requirements. A replacement element is different from a complete filter head and bowl.
Before placing the order, compare this product’s stated details with the part or installation in front of you. Keep any compatible model reference and the selected product code together. This gives you a clear reference for fitting enquiries and for matching a future replacement to the same arrangement.
