20mm Smooth Wall Bilge Hose 20m Coil. This Australian-made bilge pump hose has a smooth outer wall and smooth internal bore. The outer surface provides a continuous seating area for hose clamps, while the bore is designed to reduce friction and residue build-up. A PVC helix and thick-wall construction provide a flexible hose format for bilge discharge, livewell systems and caravan or RV waste plumbing. The listed working pressure is 58 PSI. Its minimum bend radius is a key selection measurement when planning a route through a confined compartment.

### Choosing and using this product

Measure the internal diameter required by the pump and outlet fittings, then trace the intended hose route. Check that every bend can remain at or above the minimum bend radius for this size. A flexible hose still needs enough room to curve without flattening, so allow extra clearance around corners and beneath access panels. Choose clamps that fit the outside diameter of the hose over the connection and position them on a sound section of hose tail. Support longer runs and protect the hose where it passes through structure or close to moving equipment. The stated hose pressure does not establish the rating of an entire plumbing system: the pump, fittings, valves and joints must all suit the intended duty. After installation, operate the system and inspect the run for leaks, movement or signs of restriction. A full coil is useful when preparing several runs, but measure each section before cutting.
