    ### Marine 12mm Reinforced PVC Water Hose 20m Reel for Boat Plumbing - RWB3579

12mm Reinforced PVC Water Hose 20m Reel. This reinforced water hose combines blue-tint PVC inner and outer layers with polyester mesh reinforcement. It is UV stabilised and intended for a range of water plumbing duties, including pump suction lines, bilge outlets, toilet installations and drains. The material is described as non-toxic and suitable for drinking water, although it may leave a taste. That distinction matters when choosing between general water plumbing and a dedicated tasteless drinking-water hose. The internal diameter defines the connection size; the supply length defines how much hose is included.

### Choosing and using this product

Match the bore to the fittings and check the intended fluid, pump requirements and installation conditions before use. Although the hose can tolerate short-term contact with oil or petrol-based products, it is not suitable for permanent fuel lines. For drinking-water use, keep the hose clean and separate from sanitation or bilge equipment, and follow the water system's flushing and commissioning instructions. Measure the route with allowance for bends, fitting engagement and service access. Avoid kinks, rubbing points and unsupported runs that load a pump or valve connection. Select clamps to fit the hose's installed outside diameter, and check every joint when the system is first operated. A reinforced construction does not remove the need to confirm the pressure and temperature requirements of the particular application. Consider whether a full reel or a per-metre cut length best matches the job. Check the selected supply option carefully before ordering. Cut lengths cannot be returned. Reinspect the completed route during maintenance, especially where the hose passes through structure or shares space with stored equipment.
