    ### Manta Large Marine Folding Bait Station with Two Rod Holders and Deck Sockets

The Manta RWB1971 is the large folding socket-mount bait station, supplied with two flush-mount stainless steel sockets for installation in the boat. Its stepped legs slot into these sockets and fold up for removal and storage. The New Zealand-made frame uses 316-grade stainless steel with heavy-duty welds, and includes two rod holders. A white nylon cutting board with a large lip surround provides the bait-preparation surface. The 725 x 420mm overall footprint is the key distinction when comparing this model with the other socket-mount size.

### Choosing and using this product

Before drilling, check both the 300mm socket spacing and the 96mm space required below the mounting surface. The sockets need suitable structural support and clear access underneath; inspect for cables, hoses and other hidden equipment. Trial-position the complete station and confirm that the 570 x 390mm board is at a useful working height. Use a sealing and fastening method appropriate to the deck or gunwale construction. Check that both legs seat correctly before use and that there is room to lift the assembly out. For maintenance, order RWB1976 for the board or SP580 for an individual replacement socket.

After use, clean bait residue from the cutting surface and rinse the frame and mounting points with fresh water. Pay attention to joints and areas beneath the board where salt and debris can collect. Inspect the mounting connection before each outing and after relocating the station. Keep sharp tools stowed when they are not being used, and assess whether rods or other loose equipment need separate restraint while travelling. For long-term care, use cleaning products appropriate for nylon and stainless steel and avoid leaving abrasive or corrosive residue on either surface.
