Large Assorted Heat Shrink - Includes 2 each of 9.5mm, 12.7mm, 19mm in Red and Black
Keep several tubing sizes together with this assorted heat-shrink pack, part 221642. The selection contains 9.5mm, 12.7mm and 19mm in red and black.
Two pieces of each size and colour are included, giving 12 pieces in total. Every piece is 150mm long, so the assortment provides ready-length sections for a range of matching wiring jobs.
Choose this assortment when the 9.5mm, 12.7mm and 19mm sizes match the planned work. Check the required fit and shrink characteristics for each connection before application.
Choosing and using this product
Check the sales format carefully when comparing a short repair quantity with a full roll. Work out the requirement for the complete job first, then allow for the terminations specified by the installation instructions. This reduces the chance of selecting an unsuitable length because two products share a similar name.
For sleeving, conduit or heatshrink, compare the usable internal space with the bundle or connection being covered. Where a shrink ratio is stated, consider both the starting and recovered dimensions. A sleeve that fits the cable alone may not pass over an assembled connector.
Measure the complete route before deciding how much cable or protective sleeving to order. Include the path around fittings and the access needed at terminations. The supplied roll or cut length is the purchase quantity; it is separate from the electrical or mechanical size of the product.
Plan routing and support before cutting material to length. Keep the installation accessible where practical, and use connections and protection appropriate to the equipment. Label remaining stock with its size and specification so it can be distinguished from similar-looking materials.
