KUS Fuel Sender - 325mm
The KUS 325 mm fuel sender provides the tank-level signal for a compatible 240–33 ohm gauge installation. Choose this fixed-length variant when its dimensions suit the tank and the gauge uses the specified resistance range. It is suitable for liquid and fuel level measurement.
The 325 mm length is the key physical selection detail for this version. Measure the tank and confirm the required sender length before ordering, allowing the clearance specified for the installation. This is a particular length in the KUS range, so choose the required size rather than assuming it can be adjusted to suit a different tank depth.
A magnetic reed switch provides the sensing arrangement. The sender is supplied with a waterproof mounting gasket and carries an IP67 rating. Check the mounting surface and fastening arrangement, then follow the installation instructions so that the gasket can be fitted correctly. The component rating should not be treated as certification of the entire tank installation.
Allow 20 mm above the tank for the sender housing when checking available space. That clearance is relevant where a tank sits beneath a deck, seat base or access cover; also consider access to the connections and the ability to service the sender later.
Compare the 240–33 ohm resistance range with the gauge specification before connecting the system. This check is separate from choosing a sender of the right length. A gauge using a different resistance range requires the appropriate matching sender, even if its appearance and panel size are otherwise suitable.
