Jarrett 3:1 Hand Winch 6m x 4mm Wire Cable with S Hook Winching Replacement
Equip a suitable trailer with the Jarrett 3:1 hand winch in this specific 6m x 4mm wire cable with s hook configuration. Its stated winching capacity is 500kg, and the range is intended for light boats, jet skis and general winching. Matching the ratio and supplied line arrangement makes it easier to select the right version for your boat-loading setup.
The supplied 6m x 4mm wire cable with s hook identifies both the reach and the connection format of this version. Compare the cable diameter with the intended winch arrangement and check that its length suits the retrieval path. Keep the hook type in mind when matching the boat attachment point.
The fixed handle provides manual operation through the 3:1 gear ratio. This is a single-speed arrangement, so there is no separate direct-drive or multi-speed handle position to select. Allow enough space around the mounting position for the handle to turn through its operating path.
Before replacing an existing winch, compare the mounting arrangement, handle clearance and pulling-line path. A stated winching capacity is not the same specification as a boat’s total weight, and it does not establish a lifting rating. Select the complete installation for the intended loading task rather than using the model name alone.
Choosing and using this product
This is a targeted replacement purchase, so keep the parent equipment reference beside the part number while checking the order. If several similar assemblies are fitted aboard, identify the relevant position as well. That distinction helps ensure the part is ordered for the equipment actually being serviced.
Keep the drum, line attachment and moving mechanism accessible for regular inspection. Check the line and its end fitting together with the winch. Follow the specified care procedure for the mechanism and replace damaged components with correctly matched parts.
