Inflatable PFD Firing Indicator - Halkey Roberts
Select the Halkey Roberts firing indicator for a compatible Halkey Roberts inflatable-jacket mechanism. It is listed separately from the UML indicators, helping distinguish the correct replacement family. Confirm the actual inflator type and component fit before ordering this service spare.
Choosing and using this product
A lifejacket service part needs to match the mechanism already fitted to the jacket. Start with the label on the existing inflation assembly and compare the listed model, thread or component reference. The jacket’s colour or general buoyancy class alone is not enough to identify every replacement part.
After the required service work, keep the component reference with the jacket’s records. This is useful when checking what was fitted and when ordering the next matching part. Store spare components in accordance with their instructions and protect them from conditions that could affect their operation.
Check exactly what this item supplies before planning a service. A cylinder, firing indicator, cartridge and complete recharge kit are different purchases. Replacing one component does not mean that every other part of the inflation system has been renewed or checked.
For a fleet or several family jackets, compare each mechanism separately before buying a quantity of spares. Jackets bought at different times may use different components, even when their outer covers are similar. Ordering by the actual mechanism avoids unnecessary returns and mismatched service stock.
Use the jacket and inflator instructions for inspection and replacement. Keep the service area organised so the original and replacement components cannot be confused. If the old component cannot be identified, establish its model before fitting a substitute that simply looks similar.
Before placing the order, compare this product’s stated details with the part or installation in front of you. Keep any compatible model reference and the selected product code together. This gives you a clear reference for fitting enquiries and for matching a future replacement to the same arrangement.
