    ### Heavy Duty Two-Speed Marine Wiper Motor - 12V 2A, 65mm Shaft

Robust high-torque two-speed motor with adjustable sweep angle and self-parking to left or right. Compatible with AFI wiper arms and blades up to the stated maximum length. Pantographic arms require a sweep of 80 degrees or less.

### Choosing and using this product

Two operating speeds make this motor a useful basis for a windscreen system where wiping needs change with rain and spray. Select the electrical version to match the boat supply, then choose the arm and blade together within the listed capacity. For a replacement, compare the existing shaft diameter and available mounting depth before assessing the motor location.

The adjustable sweep allows the wiping path to be arranged around the actual glass area. Plan where the blade should rest when parked, keeping the helm viewing area and opening-window hardware in mind. A longer arm changes the path of both blade ends, so check the complete assembly through its travel rather than relying only on a single measurement at rest.

As general fitting advice, isolate the supply, follow the motor wiring instructions and use circuit protection appropriate to the installation. Keep connections accessible for inspection and support the wiring independently of the terminals. Set the motor parking position before attaching and positioning the arm. Where a pantographic arm is used, confirm its permitted sweep during setup.

Wet the windscreen before carrying out an operational check. Watch for clearance around the frame, even blade contact and a clean return to the selected parking side. If the blade catches or travels beyond the glass, stop and correct the geometry before further use. Regularly check the arm fixing and remove salt or dirt from the wiping edge so the mechanical installation stays serviceable.

This 12V, 2A model uses the stated 65mm shaft, so both electrical supply and mounting depth should be confirmed when replacing an existing motor. The left or right parking choice can then be set around the helm view.
