Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Ratchet Transom Tie Down 50mm x 1.5m Pair
Choose the heavy duty stainless steel ratchet transom tie down - 50mm x 1.5m - pair for a transom restraint arrangement that matches its dimensions and end fittings. It is supplied as a pair for the stated transom application.
The ratchet style provides an adjustable tensioning arrangement. Match the hook style and webbing dimensions to the attachment points before ordering.
The heavy-duty stainless steel ratchet has a swivel J-hook and is intended to connect the boat’s ski hook directly to the trailer. Its 50mm x 5ft (1.5m) format is listed for larger boats.
The stated lashing capacity is 550kg. This is a restraint rating, not a lifting capacity or the total weight of boat that can automatically be secured. Match the full restraint arrangement and attachment points to the task; do not double this figure simply because the straps are supplied as a pair.
Choosing and using this product
For this version, length: 5ft (1.5m). Use that specific detail when comparing the item with your existing equipment or planned installation. Other sizes and configurations in the range should be checked separately rather than treated as equivalent.
Review whether this product supplies one strap, a pair or a replacement component. A strap-only listing may require the matching mechanism or mounting hardware separately. Count the number of restraints needed for the complete arrangement before ordering.
Measure the actual route between attachment points and allow for the operating arrangement specified by the product. Check that hooks or loops can engage the intended fittings without being forced into an unsuitable position.
After use, store the item so the webbing and mechanism remain accessible for inspection. Retain the stated dimensions and model reference for replacement enquiries, especially where several different straps are used on the same trailer.
