GME GX700 VHF Marine Radio - Black
The black GX700 offers the compact GME VHF format with programmable scanning and two priority channels. Choose this finish deliberately when matching the radio to the console. Dual and Triple Watch functions are separate monitoring options, useful to assess alongside the display and speaker arrangement.
The GX700's LCD uses large numbers and adjustable brightness, helping you assess readability from the planned helm position. Dual speakers form the audio arrangement, and the radio’s compact design is intended for installations where space is limited. Check the actual mounting requirements before cutting the dash or selecting accessories.
Dual Watch, Triple Watch and programmable channel scanning provide different monitoring options. Two programmable priority channels allow regularly used channels to be selected within the radio’s feature set. Review the operating instructions to understand those functions rather than assuming that all monitored channels are heard simultaneously under every condition.
International, USA and Canadian channel sets are supplied. Select and use the appropriate configuration for the intended operation; having multiple channel sets is not a blanket authorisation to transmit anywhere. The IPX7 rating belongs to this model and should not be extended to unrelated accessories or an unsealed installation.
When comparing equipment, distinguish this VHF communications radio from an AM/FM Bluetooth entertainment receiver and from a 27 MHz radio. Match the antenna system and any flush-mount kit to the actual radio model. The GX400/GX700 flush-mount kits are separately listed in white and black. The GX700's useful purchasing features are its defined communication band, monitoring controls, readable display and compact format, with the exact colour selected by product code.
