General Link Galvanised Chain - 10mm - 500kg Drum
Build an anchor arrangement or general-purpose chain assembly with hot-dipped galvanised general-link chain. This range offers both cut lengths and drum quantities, so the selected supply format matters as much as the chain diameter when ordering.
This 10mm chain is supplied as a 500kg drum, containing approximately 240m of chain. The drum quantity is useful when planning several chain lengths; any stated length is approximate.
Order the chain size and supply format you need
The supply format determines what you receive: a per-metre listing is a cut-length purchase, while a drum listing identifies the stated drum quantity. This distinction is useful whether you are replacing a short anchor section or preparing several chain assemblies. Work out the total requirement before comparing the available options.
Think through the complete route from anchor to rope termination or other connecting point. Each adjoining component needs to accommodate the actual chain links. When replacing chain, inspect the existing connectors at the same time and retain the selected chain size with your equipment records. Arrange stored chain so its condition and end connections remain easy to inspect.
Selection details
This is not graded chain. Do not assign it a lifting grade or a working load that is not specified. Check the link dimensions and the fit of shackles, joining links and other fittings in the intended assembly. Nominal chain diameter alone does not establish that every connector will fit.
When comparing drum and cut-length options, use the supply description for this product code as the ordering reference. Drum weight and chain diameter describe different aspects of the purchase and do not state the same thing as a measured chain length. Confirm the quantity required for the intended installation before choosing the supply format.
