Galvanised Winch Cable 4mm x 6m S Hook
Fit a compatible manual trailer winch with this 4mm x 6m galvanised steel cable, complete with a stainless steel S hook. It is a replacement line option with its diameter, length and end connection clearly specified.
The galvanised steel cable and stated hook material are separate details. Match the cable diameter and drum arrangement to the winch rather than selecting solely by the length needed to reach the boat.
This variant has an approximate boat-length guide of 4.5m, based on a multi-roller trailer in good condition. That assumption matters: the guide is not a lifting rating or a guarantee that every boat of that length can be retrieved with the same setup.
Check the winch instructions for cable fitting and the required drum arrangement before installation. The stated application is manual trailer winches; compatibility with an electric model should not be assumed. Choose the code that matches the required hook style as well as the cable size.
Choosing and using this product
This is a targeted replacement purchase, so keep the parent equipment reference beside the part number while checking the order. If several similar assemblies are fitted aboard, identify the relevant position as well. That distinction helps ensure the part is ordered for the equipment actually being serviced.
Measure the actual route between attachment points and allow for the operating arrangement specified by the product. Check that hooks or loops can engage the intended fittings without being forced into an unsuitable position.
Follow the equipment instructions for tensioning, securing and inspection. Keep the webbing clear of unsuitable contact points and inspect the end connections along with the strap. A rating for one component does not establish the capacity of the complete arrangement.
