    ### Galvanised Thimble - Bulk - 5 mm

This galvanised thimble provides a shaped support for a rope eye. Select it by the stated rope size and, where supplied, the additional dimensions for this exact variant.

Check that the rope and mating connector fit the thimble geometry. Packaged quantities vary by size, so compare the pack quantity when specified. The thimble’s rope-size designation is not a breaking-strain or working-load rating.

### Choosing and using this product

Look at both sides of the proposed connection before choosing a rigging fitting. The opening, pin or thread must suit the adjoining components, while the body needs sufficient clearance to sit as intended. A larger nominal size is not automatically the best fit for a confined connection.

Plan access for assembly, adjustment and routine inspection. The connection should be arranged so adjoining parts do not prevent its intended movement or closure.
