Galvanised Hook and Eye Turnbuckle - Bulk - 12mm
This galvanised turnbuckle uses a hook and eye configuration. The threaded adjustment arrangement lets you select the overall length within the stated minimum and maximum dimensions.
Check the end-fitting geometry as well as the nominal diameter. Eye, hook and jaw versions have different connection styles and load figures, even where their overall lengths look similar. The dimensional range below is specific to this model.

For workshop or refit orders, check the sales quantity as well as the size. A retail pack and a bulk listing may contain different numbers of the same style of fitting. Keep spare components labelled so pin sizes, thread forms and material grades remain easy to identify.
Plan access for assembly, adjustment and routine inspection. The connection should be arranged so adjoining parts do not prevent its intended movement or closure. Once assembled, inspect the fitting and surrounding hardware together, especially where there has been wear, deformation or a difficult loading event.
Look at both sides of the proposed connection before choosing a rigging fitting. The opening, pin or thread must suit the adjoining components, while the body needs sufficient clearance to sit as intended. A larger nominal size is not automatically the best fit for a confined connection.
