Galvanised Chain and Shackle Kit - 10mm x 2m
Put a ready-paired chain section and shackles into your anchoring setup with this general-link chain kit. The chain has a hot-dipped galvanised finish and a galvanised dee shackle at each end. Having the chain length and both connecting shackles together makes it easier to identify the components for the job.
The selected kit pairs 10mm x 2m chain with 2 x 10mm shackles. Check those two sizes separately when matching it to the rest of the anchoring arrangement.
A defined chain section with matching listed hardware
A chain-and-shackle package makes it straightforward to identify the length and two end fittings being added to the boat. It is particularly convenient when reviewing a replacement anchor-chain section: the contents are listed together, so you can compare the full package with the arrangement already aboard.
Check the anchor connection at one end and the rope termination or adjoining hardware at the other. The two shackles need to fit those parts as well as the chain. Before stowing the assembly, confirm that the components are arranged as intended and remain accessible for inspection. Keep the chain and shackle sizes on record for future replacement purchases.
Selection details
The kit is supplied in a hang pack. Check the specified shackle size against the anchor and adjoining rope termination, as the shackle size is not necessarily the same as the chain diameter. Select by the full combination of chain and shackles shown below.
When matching existing equipment, keep the exact product code with the dimensions you have checked. Similar-looking fittings can differ in their opening, material section or connection style. Comparing the full specification before ordering makes it easier to select a replacement that fits the arrangement you already have and remains straightforward to maintain.
