Galvanised Anchor Chain with Shackles - Chain Dia.: 8mm
This galvanised general-link anchor-chain pack is supplied with two D shackles in a cardboard box. It brings together a defined chain length and matching specified shackle diameter, making the contents straightforward to compare when assembling an anchor setup.
Check the chain diameter, chain length and shackle size as separate measurements. Packs with the same chain diameter may contain different lengths. Assess the complete anchor connection and do not infer a working load limit from the component sizes alone.

Select shackles and joining components around the actual links and the equipment at both ends. Keep access available for fitting and inspecting those connections. Do not assume that an unlisted load capacity can be derived from the chain’s material or appearance.
For a replacement section, compare the old and new chain before assembly, particularly if it will pass through equipment. Follow that equipment’s specification for chain size and calibration where applicable. Arrange stored chain so it can be handled without tangling adjoining rope or fittings.

Compare the wire diameter, link dimensions and supplied length when choosing chain. Link geometry affects how the chain fits adjoining hardware, so nominal diameter alone may not establish compatibility with an existing arrangement or a chain-handling device.
