    ## Folding Grapnel Anchor - 4.0kg

Make better use of limited storage space with a folding grapnel anchor. The hot-dipped galvanised steel arms fold in after use, while the locking collar is part of the folding design. The compact form and relatively few sharp edges make this style useful for canoes, kayaks, inflatable boats and jet skis where appropriate to the selected size.

This folding grapnel is the 4.0kg version, with the boat-size guide listed as Up to 6m. The weight identifies the selected anchor, while the collar and folding arms define how it is stored.

### Compact stowage for space-conscious boats

Folding arms make this anchor style easier to accommodate where storage space is limited. The benefit is especially useful when equipment needs to be packed into a small compartment or kept clear of seating and other gear. Compare the folded arrangement with the space available aboard, as well as the listed anchor weight.

Check the collar and arm movement before use and again after retrieval. Clearing debris from moving areas helps you inspect how the folding mechanism is operating. When putting the anchor away, arrange its rope and connecting hardware so the equipment can be removed together without the arms catching surrounding items.

### Selection details

Check the stated weight and boat-size guide against your own craft before choosing. A compact folded shape helps with stowage, but the suitability of the anchor still depends on the intended use and conditions. This listing is for the anchor variant identified below.

Consider handling as well as the storage position when selecting this equipment. Think through how it will be brought out, connected, used and returned aboard with the space available on your boat. Keeping the relevant rope and hardware organised makes routine preparation more straightforward and leaves the complete arrangement easier to inspect between trips.
