    ### Explorer Padded Folding Boat Seat - Grey/Charcoal Pads

A moulded UV-stabilised plastic shell and hinged back form the basis of this folding boat seat. A vinyl press-stud strap retains the back in its folded position.

This Explorer is the padded grey/charcoal version, with its pads included as part of the seat.

The base is pre-drilled for a standard 7 x 7-inch seat swivel. Check the actual mounting pattern and supporting hardware before fitting, and compare the full seat dimensions with the intended location. Allow enough room for the back to fold without meeting other fittings.

### Choosing and using this product

For upholstery or cushion purchases, measure the area being covered and identify whether this listing supplies a finished component or material for a separate upholstery job. Colour and finish matter, but the dimensions and construction determine how the replacement will fit.

Follow the care instructions for the upholstery, frame and moving hardware. Include the mounting points in regular inspections and keep the exact model and colour reference for future enquiries. A replacement cover, shell or cushion needs to be matched to the relevant seat model.

Choose the seat around the helm or passenger position, not simply the available floor area. Compare the overall width, depth and height with nearby controls and walkways. Where a flip-up or folding section is provided, allow clearance for its full movement.

Think about access around the seat during ordinary use. The installation should leave controls reachable and allow the intended passage through the boat. Offer the seat and mounting components into position before committing to new holes or altering existing supports.

Check the mounting arrangement separately from the upholstery dimensions. A seat, slide, swivel and pedestal can be sold as individual items, so compare the listed inclusions with the supporting hardware already aboard. The height of the complete assembly affects the finished seating position.
