Courtesy Light - Black
Provide soft local illumination with this compact black courtesy light. Part 490028 is intended for areas such as stairs, companionways and lockers, using a 12V 3W festoon bulb.
The 57 x 57mm fitting has an ABS plastic front cover that snaps on and can be removed for bulb replacement. Its small square format gives a practical option where only a limited mounting area is available. The light is fully wired, with no switch required as specified for this fitting.
Choosing and using this product
For this version, size: 57 x 57mm. Use that specific detail when comparing the item with your existing equipment or planned installation. Other sizes and configurations in the range should be checked separately rather than treated as equivalent.
Consider how the fitting will be reached for cleaning or future replacement. Retain the model reference and any compatible spare-part codes with the boat’s records. This is especially helpful when several similar-looking lights have different voltages or functions.
Follow the light and boat instructions for location, orientation and electrical connection. Keep access available for maintenance, and confirm the completed installation operates as intended. Use only the stated ratings for the exact model rather than extending claims from another light in the range.
Review the supplied contents when selecting a light or spare. Some products are complete assemblies, while others provide a lens, globe, control or mounting component only. Identify the existing model before choosing a part for a repair.
Choose the light around its stated purpose, power supply and mounting format. A navigation light, cabin light, work light and replacement globe serve different jobs, even when their housings look similar. Match the listed function before comparing finish or appearance.
