### Choosing and using this product

Replacement battery terminals are worth considering when renewing worn connections or preparing a battery installation with a matching post arrangement. A secure mechanical fit at the battery is an important part of the completed electrical connection. Check the actual posts and cable ends before selecting terminals, especially when changing battery size or replacing a battery of a different make.

Compare the post shape, available clearance and cable attachment arrangement with the existing installation. Allow enough room for the terminal hardware and any protective covers, as well as a natural bend in each battery cable. The cable should reach the terminal without stretching, twisting or bearing against the lid of a battery box. Confirm the intended electrical duty with the requirements of the battery system.
