    ## Brass Swivel-Eye Bolt Snap - Length L: 78 mm

A swivel eye and trigger-operated bolt give this solid brass snap a practical opening and turning arrangement. A stainless steel spring is included in the snap mechanism.

The 78mm length and 20mm eye diameter help establish whether the fitting suits the intended connection. Check the space around the trigger and the fit through the eye before selecting it. The swivel eye allows the head orientation to change within the assembly.

### Convenient access to a removable connection

A snap fitting is useful where the connection needs to be opened and closed without dismantling the surrounding assembly. The particular eye, body and opening mechanism determine how it will be handled in use. Check that the operating part remains accessible in the final position, especially where the fitting sits close to another component.

Compare the opening clearance with the part that must pass through it, then check the space inside the eye or body once connected. Allow room for swivel movement where the selected model includes that feature. During routine checks, inspect the spring or release action and the contact surfaces together. Use the dimensions and any stated working-load guidance for the exact fitting being ordered.

The opening action affects how comfortably the fitting can be handled in its intended position. Check whether the selected model uses a spring gate, trigger bolt, scissor action or pull-release mechanism, then allow room to operate it. Choose the eye style to suit the adjoining line or hardware and the movement required in the connection.
