    ### Tie Down Protector Pads 50mm x 450mm Pair

Protect the boat finish where a tie-down passes over the gunwale with this pair of padded protector pads. Each is 450mm long and designed to accept a strap up to 50mm wide.

The padded construction places a protective layer between the strap and the boat surface. The pads use 1680-denier polyester fabric and are listed at 50 x 450mm, giving you specific dimensions to compare with the contact area.

Position them at the gunwale where protection is needed and check that the strap fits the stated width. The pads are accessories for the tie-down arrangement; they do not add lashing capacity or establish the rating of the strap.

Supplied as a pair, they provide two separate pads for the installation. Tie-down straps are not included in this listing.

### Choosing and using this product

For this version, length: 450mm. Use that specific detail when comparing the item with your existing equipment or planned installation. Other sizes and configurations in the range should be checked separately rather than treated as equivalent.

Choose the restraint or winch connection for the task described in the listing. Webbing width, length, end fittings and the tensioning mechanism all affect how it will work with the existing attachment points. Match those details before comparing nominal capacity.

Measure the actual route between attachment points and allow for the operating arrangement specified by the product. Check that hooks or loops can engage the intended fittings without being forced into an unsuitable position.

Review whether this product supplies one strap, a pair or a replacement component. A strap-only listing may require the matching mechanism or mounting hardware separately. Count the number of restraints needed for the complete arrangement before ordering.
