Boat Bailer Safety Kit
Bring several small safety accessories together inside a 1.5-litre bailer with this boat safety kit. The container has an ergonomic handle, a sealed lid and a mouth designed for round or square hull shapes. Its combination of storage and bailing functions makes it distinct from a simple open bailer.
The included 50-foot throw rope has an orange float, and the kit also contains a rubberised AA torch, whistle, signal mirror and navigation compass. These are individual components with different purposes, making the contents list more useful than a general description of an emergency kit. Batteries for the torch are not included and need to be selected separately.
The bailer’s O-ring-sealed lid provides the stated waterproof, airtight container arrangement. The bright colour, floating design and security lanyard are practical handling and storage features. Check that the lid and seal are correctly fitted according to the instructions before relying on the container’s sealing properties.
Its mouth is designed for round and square hull shapes, while the built-in handle gives a grip for bailing. The 1.5-litre figure describes the bailer’s capacity; it does not state the volume of water that can be removed per minute or any flotation load limit. Compare those details with a simple open bailer when deciding whether this combined storage-and-accessory format suits your equipment.
This package should be assessed alongside the rest of the boat’s safety equipment. No lifejackets, extinguisher or flares are listed as inclusions, and the component compass is not described with the specifications of a separate helm instrument. Choose it for the confirmed combination of a sealed bailer container and small signalling and equipment accessories, with the missing torch batteries accounted for before use.
