Black Plastic D Buckle 170411
The black plastic D buckle 170411 is a replacement option for matching canopy fittings. Its D-shaped format distinguishes it from the rectangular strap adjusters also offered in this range.
Compare the buckle shape and its opening with the strap and existing connection. No webbing width is specified for this buckle, so confirm the actual fit before selecting it for a particular strap.
This is the bulk-format version. Select the quantity needed for your canopy repair after checking the existing fittings.
Choosing and using this product
Keep spare fittings labelled with the size and type used on the boat. Similar-looking snaps, sockets and tube fittings may have different connections. Recording the product code makes subsequent cover repairs and matching purchases easier.
Follow the canopy or fitting instructions for attachment and adjustment. Keep moving parts accessible and check that the fabric is not being forced to compensate for an incorrectly positioned fitting. Inspect the surrounding material and existing mounting points during the repair.
A moulded fitting should be compared by its actual shape and connection details, not only its nominal size. Check the available clearance and the condition of the adjoining component. Use the listed application when deciding where it belongs in the boat’s equipment arrangement.
For a replacement, compare the original part and the way the cover or frame moves around it. Clearance for folding, release and tensioning matters as well as the fixed dimensions. Offer the part into position before marking a new mounting point.
Match the fitting to the canopy or cover arrangement already in place. Tube size, strap width, fastening style and the mounting position can each affect fit. Check the relevant measurement for this component rather than selecting by its colour or general shape.
