Black Plastic Cord Button Pack 5
The black plastic cord button 171415 is a canopy fitting for use with bungee straps. It provides the matching button-style attachment component when maintaining a compatible canopy or cover arrangement.
Compare the button profile and the bungee loop with the existing setup before fitting. Choose this component when the button is required, and assess the strap separately if that also needs replacement.
The pack contains 5 fittings, helping you plan the quantity required for your canopy repair.
Choosing and using this product
A moulded fitting should be compared by its actual shape and connection details, not only its nominal size. Check the available clearance and the condition of the adjoining component. Use the listed application when deciding where it belongs in the boat’s equipment arrangement.
For this version, pack quantity: 5. Use that specific detail when comparing the item with your existing equipment or planned installation. Other sizes and configurations in the range should be checked separately rather than treated as equivalent.
Keep spare fittings labelled with the size and type used on the boat. Similar-looking snaps, sockets and tube fittings may have different connections. Recording the product code makes subsequent cover repairs and matching purchases easier.
For a replacement, compare the original part and the way the cover or frame moves around it. Clearance for folding, release and tensioning matters as well as the fixed dimensions. Offer the part into position before marking a new mounting point.
Follow the canopy or fitting instructions for attachment and adjustment. Keep moving parts accessible and check that the fabric is not being forced to compensate for an incorrectly positioned fitting. Inspect the surrounding material and existing mounting points during the repair.
Count the required fittings and compare the pack quantity before ordering. A single replacement, a packaged pair and bulk supply can represent different quantities under similar descriptions. Check whether screws, pins or mating components are included.
