    ### Black Nylon Marine Rod Holder with 10mm Drain, 30 Degree Shaft and Cord Lug

The RWB2804 is a black UV-stabilised engineering-grade nylon rod holder with a narrow oval head and a 30-degree shaft. Its base combines a moulded gimbal with a 10mm hose-barb drain connection, allowing drainage to be planned around the installation. A rod/reel securing-cord lug is also included. The supplier identifies this holder as suitable for kayak installations as well as boat fishing layouts.

### Choosing and using this product

Check the intended mounting area for the entire head footprint and the angled shaft below it. On a kayak, consider the seating position, paddle stroke and the route used to enter or exit the cockpit. A holder that fits the deck can still interfere with movement once a rod and reel are in place. Confirm the rod butt fits the 40mm bore before committing to the installation.

Plan the drain route before cutting. The 10mm measurement describes the hose-barb connection; choose compatible hose and secure it appropriately if a hose is used. Route any discharge to a suitable location and keep the path free of kinks or blockages. Do not assume that a drain connection makes an installation watertight or allows water to be discharged into an enclosed hull space.

Use the actual fitting to establish final hole positions, and choose fasteners and support suitable for the deck material. Avoid over-tightening against the nylon head. If using the securing lug, arrange the cord so it does not obstruct paddling, controls or movement. Check the mount, lug and drain regularly, rinse away salt and grit, and remove debris that could obstruct the drainage path.

Inspect the cord lug separately from the drain, as each serves a different purpose in the installation.
