Match the screen to the existing opening
A correctly matched fly screen helps make an opening hatch or port more practical when insects are a nuisance. Selection should start with the compatible hatch or port code, followed by the relevant model and size. Similar openings can use different attachment arrangements, so a nominal measurement alone is not a reliable match.
Selection and fitting
Inspect the existing frame and screen attachment points before ordering. Where dimensions in this listing identify the parent hatch or port, do not treat them as the screen outside dimensions. Check that the screen can be fitted and removed without fouling handles or surrounding trim. Include the mesh and its retaining points in routine cleaning, and handle the screen carefully when storing it away from the opening.
Use the compatibility details above as the primary reference for this version. Check the model of the equipment already installed and compare any stated size or handing before ordering. Where measurements describe the complete hatch or port, they identify the associated assembly and should not be treated as measurements of the accessory itself.
For a refit, take measurements before removing the existing item and retain a note of its position and orientation. This gives you a useful reference when checking the replacement and helps keep related fittings aligned throughout the job.
