AXIS Flip Flop Boat Seat - Black with Silk Grey
The AXIS Flip Flop seat offers two-way use through a backrest that moves forwards and backwards. Choose the backrest position to suit the direction of use, with a fully upholstered seating surface beneath it.
Black with silk grey identifies this Flip Flop finish; select this code for that particular upholstery combination.
Heavy-duty marine-grade vinyl covers plush padding. The moving back is the feature that distinguishes this model from a conventional fixed-back seat, so allow room for the backrest in both positions when measuring your layout.
Slide mounting is specified. Check the seat’s fixing arrangement and the intended mounting hardware together, then consider the full installed height. The seat’s own dimensions do not include every possible pedestal or supporting structure.
The overall depth and base depth are different measurements. Use the full envelope and turning diameter to assess surrounding clearance, while checking the base dimensions against the mounting area. This helps you plan the installation around the seat’s actual movement and footprint.
When replacing an existing seat, compare the dimensions of both seats before reusing the mounting location. Check the space beside the cushion, behind the back and around any moving sections. These measurements help you choose a seating layout that suits the boat without relying on the model name or appearance alone. Keep the required mounting arrangement in mind when comparing the complete installation.
Two-way backrest movement should be checked separately from rotation on a mount. The backrest changes the direction of use at the seat itself, whereas any rotation depends on the compatible mounting assembly below.
