AXIS Seat Pedestal with Swivel Top - 450mm
Build the seating position around the specified AXIS pedestal height and top configuration. An anodised aluminium post and base provide the pedestal structure, while the selected model determines whether a swivel, slide or separate top is required.
The selected configuration for code 648512 is 450mm. Use that exact size or fitting when matching this component to the planned installation.
Measure from the supporting surface and include the seat and any additional hardware when checking the finished seating height. The pedestal height is only one part of that complete installation. Compare the base footprint with the available mounting area and check the seat connection before fitting.
These AXIS pedestals are specified for recreational use. Keep the posts at their supplied length: the pressed ends form part of the intended fit, so cutting is not an appropriate way to change height. Select the correct fixed height or adjustment range instead.
The swivel top provides 360-degree rotation and can connect directly to most compatible seats without an additional swivel. Check the actual mounting pattern, and keep the seat’s turning area clear around the pedestal.
Choosing and using this product
Inspect the deck support and fastening arrangement as part of the installation planning. Follow the relevant product and boat instructions, then include the attachment points and locking mechanisms in routine checks. Retain the model reference when compatible spare components may be needed later.
Match the connection at each end independently. The deck base must suit the mounting location, while the top must accept the intended seat or table fitting. A common-looking post diameter does not establish compatibility between every removable or locking system.
