AXIS Bait Board Replacement Tapered Collar
Replace the matching tapered collar on an AXIS bait-board leg with part 515286. This spare is intended for the collar position in the corresponding leg assembly.
Check the collar shape and existing leg arrangement before ordering. Select this tapered collar by its part reference rather than assuming it is the same as a separate locking collar for another tube size.
Choosing and using this product
Keep the fitting and its attachment points accessible for cleaning and inspection. Retain the model and dimensions with the boat’s records so a later replacement can be selected without relying only on appearance.
Choose the fitting around the way rods, tackle or bait will be handled in the boat. Compare the size and mounting arrangement with the available space, allowing access to nearby lockers, controls and walkways.
This is a targeted replacement purchase, so keep the parent equipment reference beside the part number while checking the order. If several similar assemblies are fitted aboard, identify the relevant position as well. That distinction helps ensure the part is ordered for the equipment actually being serviced.
Review the listed inclusions before ordering. A mounting base, insert or replacement component can be sold separately from the complete holder or station. Match any related parts using the stated product references.
Offer the component into position before marking the mounting area. Check access behind the surface and allow for any release or adjustment movement. Follow the fitting instructions for the appropriate attachment arrangement.
For rod storage, consider the position of the rod, reel and surrounding equipment together. The holder opening and mounting orientation should suit the intended arrangement. For a tackle or bait component, check access to the working or storage area.
