Airhead Breakthru Kids Trainer Water Skis - 47 inch
Help a learner establish a steadier starting setup with the Airhead Breakthru’s stabiliser bar and oversized ski profile. These 47-inch trainers are designed for skiers under 50 kg, with adjustable bindings spanning child size 12 to adult size 5. The tapered tail and parabolic sidecut distinguish their shape from a basic straight trainer.
The Breakthru uses an oversized profile with a parabolic sidecut and tapered tail. Its stabiliser bar is designed to keep the skis steady while the skier is learning, and the fibreglass-reinforced nylon rudders assist stability and tracking. Those features define a trainer-focused pair rather than an adult combo simply offered in a shorter length.
The under-50 kg wearer limit and child-12 to adult-5 binding range are separate checks. Confirm both before choosing these skis, because a suitable shoe-size range alone does not establish that the skier falls within the stated weight limit. The bindings are adjustable to help set the fit within their listed range.
The 47-inch length helps distinguish the Breakthru from the 48-inch wooden Monsta Splash trainers. Each model has its own stated construction and supplied learning aids, so compare those details rather than assuming all children’s skis come with the same accessories. A separate rope assembly is not listed as an inclusion for this model. Use the manufacturer’s setup and operating instructions when fitting the stabiliser arrangement and preparing the skis. Choose the Breakthru for its shaped profile, stabiliser bar and specified learner sizing when those features match the intended skier.
The stabiliser bar is part of the learning layout and should be fitted and used according to the ski instructions.
