    ### AFI 2.5 Heavy Duty Waterproof Marine Wiper Motor - 12V, 80 Degree, 50mm Shaft

Waterproof two-speed motor in a sealed grey powder-coated aluminium housing with chrome-brass shaft. Adjustable left/right coast-to-park function and RF-shielded circuitry. Includes fuse and holder. Can be wired for single speed. Pantographic arms require a sweep of 80 degrees or less.

### Choosing and using this product

Select this motor by matching the electrical system, mounting arrangement and intended arm and blade sizes. Measure the windscreen surround where the shaft will pass through, and allow room behind the mounting surface for the motor body, wiring and access during servicing. The stated dimensions provide a useful starting point for checking an existing installation before changing motors.

The adjustable sweep and parking arrangement let the wiping path be planned around the usable glass and helm sightline. As general setup guidance, establish the motor park position before attaching the arm, then select a sweep that keeps the complete blade clear of frames and window hardware. A pantographic arrangement also needs its sweep limit checked before operation.

Use the motor instructions to determine wiring, switching and circuit protection requirements. Isolate the supply while fitting components and support cables so the terminals are not carrying cable strain. Once installed, test on wet glass and confirm both the full travel and return to park. Recheck the arm fixing and blade condition during routine maintenance, particularly after any adjustment to arm length or sweep.

This AFI 2.5 version pairs a 12V supply with an 80-degree supplied sweep. Its larger stated arm and blade capacity is relevant when planning a broader windscreen, with final geometry checked before installation.
